Academic Achievement

St. John's Military School is challenged with many new students each year and must first identify student needs. This is done with a variety of assessments to include the Measure of Academic Progress test (MAP), Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), ACT, PSAT, SAT and the Kansas Computer Assessments. Small class size and one-on-one relationships play a leading role in helping to identify individual student needs.

Once identified students are assisted in a variety of ways to help them grow academically. Assessments are used to monitor individual growth as well as classroom and school improvement as a whole.

A culmination of efforts allows our school to reveal and celebrate the most important subject, the achievement our students make during their time at St. John's Military School. Quality staff, small class size, high expectations, identifying student needs and a school dedicated to student achievement have given us astounding results. The following graphs represent St. John's Military School compared to Kansas required goals as well as other nearby states that our students rein from.
