Football

football program at st john military schoolThe purpose of football at St. John's Military School is to provide a competitive opportunity for young men to further their educational opportunities by developing their character and life skills in a competitive athletic environment. Football is one place where this can be accomplished. Our goal is to teach skills that help a student athlete learn how to win in football and in life. This is accomplished with the following in mind: teaching self-discipline by having discipline imposed upon them; teaching how to compete by constantly being challenged; teaching how to be courageous by demanding more when they think they have no more to give; teaching them perseverance when they are down, by being graceful when they are up, and by providing them an opportunity to have fun at the game of football in which they are better than they ever thought possible.

We offer 8-man football, and we compete with other private and public schools in the area. Every cadet has an opportunity to play if he chooses  Our season consists of nine games.
