The purpose of basketball at St. John's Military School is to provide a competitive opportunity for young men to further their educational opportunities by developing their character and life skills in a competitive athletic environment. Being a team sport with an emphasis on structured play, basketball provides interested students the opportunity to participate while learning technical skills, self-discipline, control, and teamwork. St. John's strives to teach necessary skills to assist the student athlete to win in basketball and in life.
